"Gold" was a great racehorse and competed against his rival Golden Lights, another highly aclaimed Appendix QH Stud and racer. The standard for racing has changed, and to most people Gold's record looks unimpressive, but everything's become different in the past year: purses are 3-4 times higher, we have now graded stakes which we didn't have when he raced. Gold competed for the June/July 2001 Producer HOTY against his sire WCh Non Stop, his sire recieved the HOTY and Gold got the RHOTY, but Non Stop earning HOTY tells that he is truely getting the award because of Gold, and his talented offspring. Gold's dam Decked in Gems has also recently shown her talents by recieving a Western RHOTY, and earning the HoF title. Nothin' But Gold has just become OSF's second horse to ever earn a UHoF title, second only to his very talented son OSF Vista del Mar!
We're extremely proud of the acomplishments of Gold's colt OSF Vista del Mar who has surpassed his father in racing by winning the Sprinter's Triple Crown, achieving NHoF status through only his racing career, and being voted Sprinter Horse of the Year.
